Astroboy oh boy!

Recunosc... am lucrat pe ascuns si n-am suflat nicio vorba despre proiectul Astroboy. Ceea ce a inceput cu planul unui headsculpt a devenit (spre mai bine) o masca (basorelief) de 40-45 cm diametru ce lasa o impresie (vizuala, biensur) ceva mai puternica. Mult mai. In cateva zile voi putea trece la finisare si culoare...so keep close and enjoy (for now) my corel(14) version of Astro-B. Ta-ta!

SPAWN on THRONE Alternate Realities Spawn VII DELUXE BOX Figure Edition Series 21 este una dintre cele mai reusite figurine/diorama din seria Spawn si de departe cea mai impresionanta din colectia Alternate Realities. Dupa multe aventuri postale am reusit sa intru in posesia ei, asa ca pot vorbi in cunostina de cauza si nu doar din google images sau wishful thinking. Ceea ce ii lipseste acum este un soclu pe masura si niscaiva spot lights care sa intregeasca atmosfera Hamlet-iana. Inca odata imi scot basca in fata minunatiilor Mcfarlane, the godfather of cool toys... eh, enjoy!

Beauty print-ul campaniei Britannica s-a incheiat azi, cu putin dupa ora pranzului. Desi lipsesc grifoni sau lebede din cadru (my bad!) s-a compensensat cu aparitia faimosului Liliput Robot (vezi in partea de jos a cartii). So... Dawkins: o dezamagire? - Nu!

Ultima coperta gata de tipar (de azi) imbraca o carte ce-ar vrea sa ii dea peste nas lui Dawkins. Sincer, nu cred ca imi plac subiectele de gen: sa contrazicem o contrazicere. Autorul, fost ateu (cica), face pe desteptul cand nu trebuie, ceea nu e nici macar amuzant. Anyhow, va recomand (totusi) cu caldura: Climbing Mount Improbable si Unweaving the Rainbow de R. Dawkins. Si credeti-ma, nu-i mare lucru de crezut ...out there.

Curierul a sunat (azi) la usa de acasa si negasind pe nimeni m-a urmarit pana la birou. Frumos din partea lui, mai ales ca mi-a lasat plocon o cutie de vreo 80 de cm inaltime plina cu goodies. De departe cel mai impresionant obiect din cutia cu jucarele este cel de mai sus, si anume: GHOST RIDER ON BUILDING STATUE BY GENTLE GIANT. Cu numarul 240 din 1000 de bucati lansate in lume, uriasa statueta merita tot efortul (caratului pana la etajul 2). Revin cu poze si pret la cerere... doar daca renuntati la contul de facebook si va propuneti sa fugiti din tara pana in 2012.
