Xmas is red; so is baby Hellboy!

De sarbatori rosul e la mare cinste. La fel si copiii in iesle. Un copil rosu, de sarbatori, este cadoul perfect pentru... familia mea. Pe scurt: colectia HB se mareste cu un headsculpt "Baby Hellboy". Revin cu poze "making of" si cu minunatia finala. Pana in Craciun!

Degeabba va minunati de Jabba (sneak preview)

Pentru ca nici macar nu-i gata. Noul sculpting project: Jabba The Hut (StarWars, da) este in stadiul de pregatire pentru vopsit. Animalul cantareste nu mai putin de 12 Kg si este modelat la scara 1/6: aprox. 60 cm lungime x 30 cm inaltime. Sideshow 1/6 scale StarWars figures READY, Jabba va fi inaugurat in weekendul vii-i-tor (dupa Paste) cu surle si trambite, bautura si droguri. Participarea la eveniment se va face doar pe baza invitatiilor.

Astroboy oh boy!

Recunosc... am lucrat pe ascuns si n-am suflat nicio vorba despre proiectul Astroboy. Ceea ce a inceput cu planul unui headsculpt a devenit (spre mai bine) o masca (basorelief) de 40-45 cm diametru ce lasa o impresie (vizuala, biensur) ceva mai puternica. Mult mai. In cateva zile voi putea trece la finisare si culoare...so keep close and enjoy (for now) my corel(14) version of Astro-B. Ta-ta!

HellBoy no longer undercover

...because he's on the cover.. of Igloo magazine. To be more specific is on the 4th cover (wich is the front cover of Oogli -the monthly arts & culture issue). Also, you can find there some neat article by Sma about this weird guy Sickboy and his sculptures. Enjoy

My preciousssss indeed

Of course i did it! I mean, i did it as in: i've just completed the work on my latest head sculpt: Smeagol (hairless version - so far). So far so good but let me tell you more about this real size scale sculpt of the Precious: it's pretty heavy and he stares a lot. An yes, it's just a little tribute to Weta and all the people involved in the process of making LOTR. New Zealand rocks!

So, my latest sculpt project is ready to look good. I just finished (yesterday) the paint job... as a late present for my birthday. There were no problmes with the oil colors, clay, tools or hairspray involved in the process so he's lookin' kinda awsome right now. But enough small talk, watch the goddamn pictures!
